Proxim Certified Broadband Associate

Class Name: Broadband Wireless Basics, Tsunami MP.11, Quickbridge, TeraMax, TeraStar.
Intended audience: Proxim Partner personnel including technical pre-sales, system engineers, project managers, site evaluation personnel and installers for these products.
Prerequisites: Technical skills, basic TCP/IP understanding. Student laptops are required.
Please also bring a UTP patch cord and a crossover adapter (or cross-over cable) for labs.
Description: This 2 day course provides an introduction to the factors involved with microwave path design and installation. It also includes detailed technical explanation of the Quickbridge and Tsunami MP11 products. BICSI credits = 14 RCDD & 14 NTS credits (USA/Canada), 7 RCDD & 7 NTS credits (International).

Proxim Certified Broadband Engineer

Class Name: Advanced Broadband Wireless, Tsunami PTP, Lynx, GigaLink, TeraBridge, TeraOptic.
Intended audience: Proxim Partner personnel including technical pre-sales, system engineers, project managers, site evaluation personnel and installers for any of the products mentioned above.
Prerequisites : PCBA class completed. Student laptops are required.
Please also bring a UTP patch cord and a crossover adapter (or cross-over cable) for labs.
Description : This 1 day class provides a detailed description of the Tsunami Point to Point family of high speed Ethernet bridges and Lynx high capacity point to point products. It also includes the TeraBridge, TeraOptic and GigaLink high capacity systems. Technical details, topologies, configurations are included; as well as hands on practice, link calculation and path analysis. BICSI credits = 7 RCDD & 7 NTS credits
